About Us
User Experience Israel (UXI, or UX Israel) is an organization that aims to promote the fields of User Experience (UX), User Interface (UI), and Usability in Israel. The organization was founded in November 2009 by Barak Danin, CEO of Uniq UI, who leads the organization today, together with the UXI team. The site went live on March 1st 2010.
Our Objectives
The organization was founded with these objectives in mind:
- To increase awareness of the field of expertise that is UX, and of the professional skills required from those practicing it
- To provide reliable, professional information – in Hebrew
- To create a place for UX professionals to speak their mind
- To assist in creating a dialogue between Israeli UXers
The UXI Team
The UXI team is a group of 10 professionals who work in different organizations by day, and occasionally meet for a few beers, intensive talk and promotion of UXI's site and activities. Together they help make UXI a reality. They are:

Events
UXI has already had several themed evenings hosting ~200 people each, and one full-day conference with 450+ people attending (2010), as well as 3 two-day conference with 700+ people (2011-2013).
